Improve your game!
This channel is dedicated to all the gold seeking Pickleballers out there who dink responsibly and stay out of the kitchen. We have all levels come through the channel, but we concentrate on the 4.0s, 4.5s and up to 5.5s.
I started this channel quite by accident, I was recording my games to do film study and get better. I did not have time or money for lessons from pro pickleball coach, so I started watching all my screwups. People that I was playing with started to ask if they could watch too and I said sure. That helped all of us a lot to improve our game, strategy, mental toughness, and techniques. Now we have new pickleball videos published several times a week. We occasionally have pro pickleball players on the channel. Mostly its non pro pickleball players on their quest to 5.0 pickleball. We have all levels come through the channel: 4.0 pickleball, 4.5 pickleball and up to 5.5 pickleball with the pros.

Returning this lob in pickleball. This is a tougher shot than you may think. It is pretty fun and pretty fun pretty annoying too if you get lobbed all the time. Let's just look at the videotape. I always get a little too excited. What is wrong with this picture? You can see this all the time. Refs miss it, we miss calling it as opponents. What's wrong right there? The foot when he does that scissor kick! I bet he was a tennis player. He does the scissor kick, goes into the kitchen, commits a fault. A first point I want to bring up is this: Rich Lively hits the overhead. He stays out of the kitchen. How is he staying out of the kitchen? He's using that offhand his left hand to stay balanced. So basically he's using that off hand to stay balanced, and this is very effective. That will help you really be ready for the next shot. Here's me. I need to stay out of the kitchen. I'm doing this by using that left hand keeping my balance and by keeping my balance. I'm ready for the next shot. This is so important. It's a great tip, Sarah Ainsbury taught it to me, one of the best teachers in the nation. Thank you, Sarah! Next if you are having shoulder problems or having trouble, don't have enough time to hit that overhead, try using that sky hook. Lydia just hit it right here, Mark had hit it earlier in the point. I'm gonna go in slow motion so it's almost like a sky hook like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. This is a lot easier on the shoulder. I'd like to teach it to seniors. Mark, you’re senior, and Lydia, you're not quite a senior, probably 33. Super nice, she lives at the villages. This is really effective, and I'd like coaching this to people with shoulder problems. The next point I want to make: when someone lobs you, run around it. Don't try to be too offensive, either hit a drop, or lob. That's exactly what Eric Gagnon did in this point. This is men's Senior Pro. He doesn't try to hit a really offensive shot where he probably will miss. He takes his medicine they get back in the point, and they have a fair shot at winning the point. This is very important. Don't try an offensive shot in a defensive situation! Here is an incredible drop off a lob by our very own Mark Napartovich. Rich Lively hits a lob. Mark runs back. He's nice and relaxed, he's taking his medicine, he knows he has to hit a nice drop. If you look at the arc he hits on this. It's a decent arc I mean that is a good six feet above the net. I mean that's high, he puts actually a little top spin on it, and he gets right back into the point. So do not panic really, take your time, put good arc, and life's gonna be okay. Ladies and gentlemen, I truly enjoy doing this. Thank you so much for watching. Please comment and please subscribe. This really does give my life meaning when you comment and subscribe and like the videos. My life is better, I see brighter colors, I'm less depressed. Everyone have a great day!
