The spin serve is not easy guys, and itโs not for everyone. So make sure that you really go through the proper steps if you really want to get it down. Once you are consistently making the spin serve in, the same fundamentals of normal serves will start to matter as well. If you can consistently hit these serves deeper, this will be highly effective. My recommendation is to play around with all of the methods that I talked about in the video and see which one gives you the best results. The snapping technique will definitely take you the longest to figure out, but from what I have seen this is the most commonly used. Either way, the key is to play around with it, and see what works for you.

We go over the most important strategies that separate 4.0+ players and regular 3.0s. We go over dink, volley, serve, return and speedup strategies. These skills are much like pickleball laws that the pros like Ben Johns, Tyson Mcguffin, Julian Arnold, and Zane Navratil use to win at their level. You NEED to follow these in order to get over that 4.0 hump! In the video, we've included examples of pros following these laws and tons of tips to help you improve.
The list of laws:
Law 1: Always look to come forward off of your return.
Law 2: When you're serving, look to move forward after your third shot.
Law 3: If you are up, keep them back.
Law 4: Unless you're hitting a lob, keep the ball low.
Law 5: When in doubt, hit the ball into the kitchen.

If you're looking for a way to up your pickleball game, then you need to learn about anticipation! This strategy will help take all of your dinks, volleys, serves, returns, and drops to the next level. To use this strategy effectively, it is important to be aware of what kind of shots your opponent is apt to return and anticipate them accordingly - if they are likely to hit hard and fast, adjust accordingly so that you are ready for that power. Learning to anticipate their return shot will enable you to plan your own shot carefully. Practicing this technique regularly can help sharpen your game and also help you outthink and outmaneuver your opponents in a match. Try it today to see how anticipating can have a positive impact on your pickleball skills!
