I started this channel quite by accident, I was recording my games to do film study and get better. I did not have time or money for lessons from pro pickleball coach, so I started watching all my screwups. People that I was playing with started to ask if they could watch too and I said sure. That helped all of us a lot to improve our game, strategy, mental toughness, and techniques. Now we have new pickleball videos published several times a week. We occasionally have pro pickleball players on the channel. Mostly its non pro pickleball players on their quest to 5.0 pickleball. We have all levels come through the channel: 4.0 pickleball, 4.5 pickleball and up to 5.5 pickleball with the pros.

The pickleball hits the net tape and dribbles over. Your opponent races in to get it and dinks it over. What to do?

Easy - hit it at the opponent who retrieved the ball. Simple. That player is likely still in the NVZ - or barely recovered - and is in no position to handle the next shot.

If you play pickleball then you know that it can sometimes feel overwhelming out there on the pickleball court. In this pickleball tips video, we will show you how to recognize the sort of situation you are in. Learn to play smart pickleball by recognizing where you are in a point.

Are you in an offensive pickleball position - should you attack?
Or are you in a defensive pickleball position - should you defend?

Recognizing the difference between the two and, importantly, hitting the correct corresponding shot, can make all the difference in how you perform on the pickleball court.

A quick tip about how to avoid this pickleball error.

This error tends to happen during return of serve and during third shots; players will rush in towards the incoming ball. In addition to causing errors it actually makes the incoming shot faster. Let the ball peak and then strike it. You will reduce your errors and gain more control over your shots.
