Winning isn’t made for everyone!
I’m not just talking about the actual result on the scoreboard type of winning. That’s just one interpretation. The more important definition, in my opinion, is the type of winning that happens long before the outcome.
And that’s simply NOT for all of us.
The waking up before the sun, staying up late to assess growth, the reallocation of time when we feel as if we have none, the love and excitement for physical and mental pain, doubt from “friends,” (those who doubt us aren’t true friends), enjoyment from discomfort, tons of scoreboard losing in practice, and doing it when we ‘don’t feel like it,’
THAT is winning.
Wanting to win, everyone is made for, but that’s easy and takes no work. What we want isn’t in charge of what we receive. Crushing the above list IS the win, regardless of the result on the scoreboard. Stay discipline long enough, the scoreboard will favor you.
BUT … it’ll take time.
I’m going to ask this last question, knowing for a fact that many will raise their hands and only a small percentage are telling the honest truth. Will that be you, or are you one of the fakers?
Who’s killing that above list? Raise your hand??.
